About this event

The worst time to prepare for a media interview is moments before you sit down with a journalist. Mid-Michigan organizations and leaders can avoid that altogether with this one-day fully hands-on media training for top-level executives, media spokespersons and communication teams.

Join Martin Waymire and local public media broadcaster WKAR on Monday, April 24 for a full day of instruction with top PR professionals and journalists. Attendees will walk away with insight into navigating interviews as well as experience delivering key messages in a studio setting.

During the day, participants will be given instruction on interview best practices and have opportunities to test out their skills in a studio setting and gather feedback.

Coffee, refreshments and lunch will be included. Attendance is limited so tickets are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
